Originally from Middle Tennessee, Melissa graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015 with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Business Administration. Since then, she has built a strong foundation in commercial renovations and hospitality design while working in the Knoxville area. Melissa thrives on opportunities to learn and grow, approaching each project as a creative puzzle with a focus on thoughtful, detail-driven design. She believes that attention to detail is what transforms a good idea into a meaningful, well-executed space.
In addition to her project work, Melissa leads MHM’s sustainability initiatives. With accreditations in LEED, WELL, and LFA, she champions the firm’s efforts to create healthier, more environmentally responsible environments. Believing that truly sustainable architecture is a balance between environmental stewardship and human-centered design, she’s passionate about creating spaces that ensure long-term value for both people and the planet.
