Chad Boetger
AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP / DIRECTOR OF DESIGN
As Director of Design at McCarty Holsaple McCarty, Chad Boetger drives the firm’s pursuit of design excellence and innovation. With over 25 years of professional experience, he is recognized for shaping architecture that blends creativity, sustainability, and community impact.
Chad’s leadership has been recognized with more than 40 design awards from the American Institute of Architects and other professional organizations, as well as honors for environmental stewardship and sustainable practice. Additionally, his work has been widely published, including features in ArchDaily, Dwell, Dezeen, and Architect Magazine.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Chad is passionate about elevating the role of design in creating places that inspire people and enrich communities. At MHM, he mentors emerging designers while championing a collaborative, forward-thinking studio design culture.
Outside of architecture, Chad enjoys exploring Knoxville’s vibrant downtown and Urban Wilderness with his wife, Carolyn, their son, Gage, and the family’s Golden Retriever, Beeto.
